The Rust Engine & Scoped API Keys

January was all about 'under the hood' power. To support the massive complexity of modern monorepos, we've integrated the first stable version of the Fathom Rust Engine. This provides a significant performance boost during indexing and more reliable analysis of cross-service dependencies. Combined with a fully Dockerized stack, Fathom is now more portable and secure than ever.

We also prioritized developer security and autonomy by introducing scoped API keys and OAuth application support. These features give you total control over how external services interact with your data, backed by a more robust CORS configuration and deep logging for all authentication attempts. We've also completely revised our technical documentation and READMEs to make the developer onboarding experience as smooth as possible.
