Playground & Core Foundations

We wrapped up 2025 by laying the collaborative foundations for Fathom. The launch of the Playground provides a dedicated space for node-focused chat, allowing developers to explore repository concepts in a lightweight, conversational interface. This launch includes our first release of the repository graph visualization system, helping users see their codebase structure in a completely new way.

To support our early user base, we've stabilized our core registration and database flows, optimizing MongoDB timeout configurations and session handling for high-concurrency environments. We also simplified the onboarding flow by removing legacy registration blocks and fixed intermittent connection timeouts during high-traffic cold starts, ensuring a stable foundation for the year ahead.
